Law enforcement workshop – Art and Antiquities

Art trafficking and conflict looting was at the agenda of our workshop last week with some of the leading figures in the field.

Discussions revolved around the preparation of the upcoming regional conference on “The use of AML /CFT legislation in the investigation of Art and Antiquities Criminality” to be held in Cairo, Egypt.

Part of a series of regional events, the conference will target prosecutors, law enforcement agencies and members of the public and private sector concerned in the management and investigation of cultural crime, particularly art and antiquities.

In April 2021, we held the first webinar focused on the disruption of money laundering and terrorist financing networks involved in the trafficking of blood antiquities, conflict looting and art theft.
