Today, the EU Global Facility launches a new e-training of authorities and regulators of Trinidad and Tobago. Focused on the topic of FATF Recommendation 8, the activity follows the initial e-training delivered to NPOs of the partner country on the same topic last month.
Starting today, the e-training will focus on the requirements and best practices to implement in order to best comply with FATF Rec 8 requirements. It is part of the workplan agreed upon with the Caribbean island during a scoping mission back in February 2023.
As of today, the EU Global Facility has already delivered technical assistance activities to the partner country on the topic of Sanctions (Immediate Outcome 3 and Recommendations 28 and 25), Gaming and FATF Recommendation 8 on the not-for-profit sector.
