From Monday 21st of November 2022 to Thursday 24th, the EU Global Facility is conducting a scoping mission on Beneficial Ownership through probing exercise and training.
The four day onsite activity included
- (i) A BO scoping through probing exercise aimed at identifying areas of improvement and possible mid-term activities to be delivered by the Global Facility (e.g. development of the legal framework, its implementation, risk based approach to BO supervision)
- (ii) A one day training and discussion on the international BO standards, identification, verification and supervision of BO disclosure requirements.
